We understand that your schedule may not always align with the diverse offerings of yoga classes, each unique in depth and style. That’s why our Themed Classes are designed to bring the diversity, depth, and extent of yoga practice to you, on a fixed schedule. With these classes, you can enjoy a comprehensive practice without the need to attend different classes on different days and at different times.

Experience the Spectrum: VinyasaModerate-Themed & VinyasaFlow-Themed

At Worlds Yoga, we offer two levels of Themed Classes to cater to your individual practice intensity and preference:

  1. VinyasaModerate-Themed: Perfect for those focusing on the anatomical aspects of yoga. These classes offer a detailed exploration of different body parts, promoting a deeper understanding and strength. The themes include:
    • Hips and Hamstrings: Focusing on the flexibility and strengthening of the lower body.
    • Spine and Core: Emphasizing the importance of core strength and spinal health.
    • Shoulders and Arms: Concentrating on the upper body, improving strength and mobility.
    • Whole Body: A comprehensive practice that integrates the entire body, promoting overall balance and harmony.
  2. VinyasaFlow-Themed: Designed for those who enjoy a dynamic and varied practice. These classes combine physical postures with rhythmic synchronization of breath and movement, offering a holistic yoga experience. The themes include:
    • Balance Flow enhances your balance
    • Flexibility Flow improves your flexibility
    • Strength Flow makes you stronger
    • Breath Flow increases your awareness of breathing and its coordination and synchronization with movements 
    • Integration Flow brings balance, flexibility, and strength together
    • Ashtanga Flow provides you with the opportunity to experience Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series
    • Natural Flow expands your yoga practice to include natural movements
    • Power Flow provides you with opportunity to experience the fast moving and energetic power style of yoga practice

Benefit of Attending Themed Classes

Practitioners who consistently attend classes with a specific intent and focus on a theme find that they advance their practice more rapidly. They become more adept at more challenging poses such as arm balances and inversions, develop greater flexibility and strength, and cultivate a more refined breath awareness. This dedicated practice not only promotes visible physical improvements but also significantly enriches mental focus and tranquility, leading to a more profound and holistic yoga experience.

Both classes encourage exploration and commitment to a range of themes, ensuring a well-rounded practice. Beginners are encouraged to start with a few Vinyasa Gentle classes to build a comfortable foundation before progressing to these thematic sessions.

Schedule of Themed classes: Some practitioners enjoy the element of surprise, while others prefer to know the themes ahead of time. If you are in the latter group and like to be informed about upcoming themes, we’ve got you covered. Although you can attend both, Moderate Themed classes are at a more moderate intensity than Vinyasa Flow – Themed classes. Practitioners of both Themed classes are advised to attend all themes to get the full benefits. Those who are new to yoga are advised to attend a few Vinyasa Gentle classes before attending these class.

  • Integration-Flow brings balance, flexibility, and strength together
  • Ashtanga-Flow provides you with the opportunity to experience Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series
  • Natural-Flow expands your yoga practice to include natural movements
  • Power-Flow provides you with opportunity to experience the fast moving and energetic power style of yoga practice

Practitioners who attend classes with a specific intent and focus on a theme consistently advance their practice more rapidly. They learn arm balances and inversions, becoming visibly more flexible and stronger throughout their body. Additionally, they breathe better, skillfully synchronizing their breath with movement in a mindful manner. This focused approach also enables them to calm and concentrate their minds throughout their practice.

This class is 75 minutes long and its in-person version is moderately heated.

See you on your mat at Worlds Yoga Fremont studio on Mondays from 7:00 to 8:15 PM, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:45 to 8:00 PM.
