Rie Ban
Rie has always been an active person, enjoying swimming, hiking, rock-climbing, dancing, marathons and travelling. In 2010, she discovered yoga as a way to relieve muscle pain from her active lifestyle. She found that yoga felt like a massage session, hitting the right spots at the right intensity. As she learned different yoga styles, she discovered new benefits, and her appreciation for the practice grew. Yoga taught her to hone her inner awareness and to enjoy the journey, rather than focusing on a goal.
After attending classes at Worlds Yoga for a few years, Rie joined the Yoga Teacher Training program offered at the studio. She received her 200 hours RYT Yoga teaching certificate in 2021 and began teaching at Worlds Yoga. She enjoys practicing many forms of yoga, but especially enjoys teaching Vinyasa yoga. She believes that yoga is not just a physical practice but a way of life. She emphasizes the importance of mindfulness, breath, and proper alignment, and hopes to help her students deepen their practice, find inner peace and find balance in their lives.
Rie welcomes students to join her classes to relax and refresh their mind and body.
