Onsite 6 Month Recurring Auto-Pay Membership Contract Terms

Benefits

The 3 month recurring membership contract is an auto-pay unlimited membership with the following benefits:

  1. Members get unlimited access to attend all Worlds Yoga studio onsite as well as online classes.
  2. Members get 10% discount on retail items as well as workshops and series.
  3. Members can bring three new guests per month (a guest is someone who has never been to the studio; they a new student).

Contract Terms

Membership Dues:

  1. Membership dues are automatically charged on the 1st or 16th of each month based on the choice of the member.
  2. Only ACH Debits or Credit Cards are accepted.
  3. If member wants to start in the middle of a month, they will only get charged for the number of days left in that partial month (that month will be prorated) and this prorate price will get added to the charge for the first full month of membership and both are due at the time of siging the contract.

Auto-renewals:

  1. Monthly membership fee is grandfathered through recurring auto-renewals. If member signs up in the middle of the month, that month will get prorated and does not count as the first month of the membership cycle.
  2. The contract auto-renews every 6 months for another new 6 month cycle.
  3. Members can cancel the auto-renewal at least 15 days before the contract’s auto-renewal date. The request for this cancelation MUST be via email to WYMemberSupport@worldsyoga.com or through the “Contact Us” page on worldsyoga.com (worldsyoga.com/contact-us/).
  4. If we are not given the 15 days notice, system auto-renews for a new cycle of 6 months and all terms and associated fees apply.
  5. If a hold has been placed, then the auto-renewal date gets adjusted (pushed out) by the number of months the membership has been on hold.
  6. Once a 6 month membership contract auto-renewal has been cancelled (disabled), the membership contract ends at the end of the 6 month of the then current cycle.
  7. Once the auto-renewal has been cancelled (disabled), the grandfathered status is automatically null and void.

Communications:

  1. All communications about this auto-pay contract memberships MUST be via email to WYMemberSupport@worldsyoga.com or through the “Contact Us” page on worldsyoga.com (worldsyoga.com/contact-us/)
  2. Any hold or cancelation request that is NOT via email or “Contact Us” page is invalid. Any hold or cancelation request left as a phone message, a written note dropped at the front desk, a verbal message left with a staff or a teacher, a letter dropped in studios’ mail drop or sent through us-post, etc. is invalid and ignored.

Cancelation:

  1. This membership contract can NOT be cancelled inside the first three months of each 6 month cycle for any reason (hardship or otherwise; under member’s control or not).
  2. This membership contract can be cancelled in cases of hardship after the first 3 months have been charged.
    1. There are 3 cases that qualify as hardship:
      1. Losing a job
      2. Moving out of the area
      3. Having a major health problem where Dr. says member can not exercise anymore.
    2. Proof of hardship is required:
      1. Letter from employer in case of loss of a job.
      2. Letter from Doctor in case of health issue.
      3. Copy of a utility bill for the new address with members name on it (or any other proof of move)
  3. There is a $119 early cancelation fee.
  4. The membership will end at the end of the membership month the request was received.

Holds:

  1. All membership contracts (3 month, 6 month, etc.) can be placed on hold for a maximum of 3 months per year; the year starts with the first hold request.
  2. All hold requests for more than 3 months will be treated as cancelation/termination request.
  3. Holds can NOT be placed for LESS than one month or MORE than 3 months.
  4. Holds can be for all three months at once, one month at a time or any combination there of.
  5. All hold requests must be received via email WYMemberSupport@worldsyoga.com at least 15 days before the start of the hold
  6. Holds can NOT be placed for a PAST date. NO exceptions.
  7. Holds can be for any reason: For traveling out of area/state/country, for health/family/work/vacation and/or for Emergency or non-emergency related matters.
  8. Each hold request has a hold processing fee of $25. Hold fees are charged regardless of the reason for hold request or whether it is under members control or not.
  9. Hold extension requests are charged a hold extension processing fee of $25. Hold extension fees are charged regardless of the reason for hold request or whether it is under members control or not.
  10. The hold processing fee and terms are not grandfathered meaning after the first year, they can change.

Failed Monthly Auto-pay Charges:

  1. If a monthly charge fails, system will send an automated email informing the member that their charge has failed and that they need to updated their credit card on file.
  2. If member fails to immediately update their card by the time system tries to charge the next day, system will send another failed notice.
  3. Once the 2nd notice has been sent, we have no choice but to terminate the membership immediately as we get charged penalties each time system tries and fails.
  4. Once the membership is terminated so does the member’s grandfather status (meaning they will lose the low rate and terms they are grandfathered for).
  5. Members have 5 days to reinstate their membership by paying a $119 reinstatement fee.
