Dr. Ketabchi (Dr.K) is the founder of Worlds Yoga Inc. which owns and operates Worlds Yoga studios. He started Worlds Yoga after being in academia and high tech industries for more than 35 years.
He completed his Ph.D in Computer Science at the university of Minnesota, taught computer science and engineering for 25 years, and was the associate Dean of Research of the School of Engineering at Santa Clara University for three years. He started a successful enterprise software company and managed the company for 15 years before the company was acquired.
After Savvion, Dr. Ketabchi decided to dedicate his time and effort to practicing and teaching yoga. He started Worlds Yoga Inc. in 2011 as a vehicle to continue his practice of yoga and to share the gift of yoga with his community.
He teaches yoga classes in Worlds Yoga, manages Worlds Yoga Teacher Training programs, and continues his research of Yoga history and evolution, yoga philosophy, and the expansive possibilities of positive influences of yoga in personal and social lives of people.
